Luma’s cake welcomes you to Paris at 100, avenue Denfert Rochereau 75014. Metro 4 and 6, RER B, bus 38, 59, 64, 68 and 88.
The training lasts all day, we will welcome you from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Delivery of technical support in paper format.
A training certificate will be given to you at the end of the training course.
Raw materials and supplies are also provided and included in the price.
At the end of the training, you will be evaluated using a questionnaire / quiz to give a level of appreciation of the hot training, then cold a few months later.
Each trainee is required to clean his work plan, the equipment and the tools which are lent to him.
Workshop on real cake.
Objectives: At the end of this training the student will be able to master the art of cake design!
- Identify the ingredients according to the cake design project
- Know the different stages of building a cake design
- Master pastry techniques applied to cake design
- Securing the cake in transport
- Knowing the different stages of building a cake design
- Content of the training action:
Day 1: (10 hours)
- Introduction to cake design (choice of cakes, creams, sugar paste, etc.)
- Baking the 15 cm cake
- Preparing a ganache.
- Preparing the filling cream.
- Assembling the cakes. (cake 15 cm and 35 cm high)
- Smoothing of cakes.
- Covering of cakes with fondant and right angles
Day 2: (10 hours)
- Painting and drawing on sugar fondant: how and with which material to make a drawing on your cakes.
- How to cover your cake and your dummy with sugar fondant at perfectly right angles.
- Assembly the cake
- Safe transport of the cake
Delivery of technical support in paper format.
All professional equipment is made available to you for use during the training. You are responsible for leaving your work plan clean.
Aprons, overshoes and gloves are provided during the training.
A light lunch is offered (pizzas or quiches with a salad), you are free to bring your own meal, it is possible to have lunch on site. Provision of coffee machine, tea, water, oven, microwave.

No deposit refund is possible.
In case of cancellation or rescheduling of the workshop by Luma’s Cake for a reason of force majeure, a new date will be proposed but you retain the possibility of requesting a refund of your deposit.
The model produced in the workshop cannot be reproduced or used for commercial or training purposes.
